Internationals
England beat newly crowned PUMA African Cup of Nations champions Egypt 3-1 at Wembley. Peter Crouch, who wears the PUMA V1.10 Football boots, scored twice for England, and Mohamed Zidan scored the only goal for Egypt meaning that 3 out of the 4 goals scored we from PUMA endorsed players. Scott Brown scored the only goal to give his Scotland team a great 1-0 win over the Czech Republic.
Current world champions Italy unveiled their new kit with a 0-0 draw against fellow PUMA team Cameroon.
FA Cup
PUMA team Reading’s FA Cup dream was ended after a spirited performance against Premiership team Aston Villa. Reading had gone 2-0 up with goals from Shane Long. However Villa came back strongly in the second half with 4 goals, 3 superbly coming from PUMA endorsed player John Carew.
PUMA team Tottenham Hotspur drew 0-0 away at London rivals Fulham to set up a replay at White Hart Lane for a place in the semi-finals.
The Championship
Cardiff City beat Middlesbrough 1-0 to stay on course for a play-off position. Cardiff are currently 6th in The Championship.
Peter Lovenkrands scored twice for newly signed PUMA team Newcastle United in their 6-1 win against Barnsley to keep their top spot in The Championship.
Coventry beat Peterborough 1-0 to go 8th in The Championship.
Sheffield Wednesday beat Leicester City 2-0 and are close to escaping the relegation zone.

Bath Rugby continued their brilliant run by beating Newcastle Falcons 13-17 away from The Rec.
David Lemi scored a try for London Wasps wearing PUMA boots in their 24-19 win against Gloucester.

Craig Kieswetter scored a magnificent 107 runs against Bangladesh to help England beat Bangladesh by 45 runs.
